Terms
Terms
The terms this roster works on, in the same plain language as the rates.
Quotes
A figure produced by the licence calculator is an estimate from the values entered, not a quote and not an offer. A quote is a written document naming the creator, the deliverables, the platforms, the term, the paid media window and the territory.
Booking
A booking is confirmed when the quote is accepted in writing. Dates are held for five working days before that, and not longer.
What the fee buys
The day rate buys the production of the deliverables named in the quote. It does not buy any usage beyond the licence written next to it. Usage outside that licence is a new licence, priced the same way as the first.
Rights and ownership
Creators retain ownership of their work. What is granted is a licence to use it, on the terms bought, for the term bought. Nothing here transfers copyright.
Paid media
Boosting rights run for the months named in the quote. Spend continuing past that window requires a renewal agreed before it starts.
Cancellation
A booking cancelled more than fourteen days before the shoot date is refunded in full. Inside fourteen days, half the day rate is due, because the date can no longer be resold.
